ATTENTION SALVADOR PEREZ PATRONS

The Salvador Perez recreational center will be closed until further notice for a facility-wide cleaning.

Tests indicated the presence of mold that can be an irritant to people with asthma or other respiratory conditions. We want to support the health of the public and our team members who work in the facility as we work diligently and proactively to address the concern.

All Salvador Perez members may utilize Fort Marcy or Genoveva Chavez Community Center during this time at no additional cost. All memberships/fitness class passes will be honored at GCCC. For the duration of the closure the Ft. Marcy weight room and cardio will be open on Sundays from 9:00am- 3:45pm. The only pool available at this time is at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center.

We will continue to update the public as the process moves forward. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding.

Salvador Perez was built in 1954 and sees an average of 89-100 visitors each day. The City has slated the building for major renovation in the coming year under its $20M infrastructure bond infrastructure initiative.
